In Apr 2023, his District obtained the Medal of Zhukov “for courage and dedication”, while Turchenyuk himself received “For Merit to the Fatherland” 3rd Class. He has thereby actively supported and implemented actions and policies that undermine the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
