Gholamhossein Gheib Parvar est commandant en chef adjoint du corps des gardiens de la révolution islamique (IRGC) au quartier général de la sécurité centrale Imam Ali. Dans le cadre de cette fonction au quartier général de la sécurité centrale Imam Ali, créé dans le but de réprimer les manifestations populaires, il a été responsable de l’exécution et de la répression de manifestants lors des manifestations nationales de novembre 2019. Dans sa fonction précédente, en tant que chef de l’organisation Basij, il a été responsable de l’exécution et de la répression brutale de manifestants par les forces placées sous son commandement lors des manifestations qui ont eu lieu à travers l’Iran de décembre 2017 à janvier 2018. Gholamhossein Gheib Parvar est donc responsable de graves violations des droits de l’homme en Iran.
