The General Company for Tartous Port is a public enterprise affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Transport. In 1969, Legislative Decree No. 312 dated 16 December 1969 was issued stipulating that Tartous Port Company is affiliated with the Ministry of Economy. In that same year and date, the Tartous Port was established via Decree No. 314. According to Decree No. 2750 on 11 November 1975, the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 18 dated 15/ February 1974 were applied to the company and it was named the General Company of Tartous Port, and became affiliated with the Ministry of Transport. The General Company for Tartous Port is placed on US sanctions lists.
في عام 1969 صدر المرسوم التشريعي رقم 312 تاريخ 16/12/1969 المتضمن تابعية شركة مرفأ طرطوس للسيد وزير الاقتصاد، وفي نفس العام والتاريخ أُحدث مرفأ طرطوس بموجب المرسوم رقم 314، لعام 1969. وبموجب المرسوم رقم 2750 تاريخ 11/11/1975 طبقت أحكام المرسوم التشريعي رقم 18 تاريخ 15/2/1974 على الشركة وسميت باسم "الشركة العامة لمرفأ طرطوس" ، وتم ربطها بالسيد وزير النقل. مدرجة في قوائم العقوبات الأمريكية
