Function: Rector of the Sevastopol State University

Vladimir Nechaev is a rector of the Sevastopol State University. He publicly supported the decision of President Putin to start Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. He also backed the illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol by the Russian Federation in 2014. Under his management, Sevastopol State University has run a program during which Ukrainian children, who had been illegally transported from the so-called “Luhansk People’s Republic” and other Russia-occupied parts of Ukraine to the illegally annexed Crimean Peninsula, have been re-educated with Russia’s history, culture, and patriotism. His actions infringe Ukraine’s law and administrative order, and violate the rights of Ukrainian children. Therefore, Vladimir Nechaev is responsible for supporting and implementing actions and policies which undermine and threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

Il a soutenu publiquement la décision du président Poutine de déclencher la guerre d’agression menée par la Russie contre l’Ukraine. Il a également soutenu l’annexion illégale de la Crimée et de Sébastopol par la Fédération de Russie en 2014. Sous sa direction, l’université d’État de Sébastopol a organisé un programme lors duquel des enfants ukrainiens ayant été transportés illégalement de la soi-disant "République populaire de Louhansk" et d’autres parties de l’Ukraine occupées par la Russie vers la péninsule de Crimée annexée illégalement, ont été "rééduqués" à l’histoire, à la culture et au patriotisme russes. Par ses actes, il enfreint la loi et l’ordre administratif ukrainiens et viole les droits des enfants ukrainiens. Par conséquent, Vladimir Nechaev est responsable de soutenir et de mettre en œuvre des actions et des politiques qui compromettent et menacent l’intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l’indépendance de l’Ukraine.
