State Security Branch of Homs (Branch 318)

أحد فروع جهاز المخابرات العامة. توجد فيه أقسام مشابهة للفروع المركزية بدمشق، وتتمتع بنفس اختصاصاتها ولها نفس عملها لكن في حدود المحافظة. ويتبع لكل فرع منها أقسام ومفارز تتوزع في مختلف أرجاء المحافظة، ولكل بلدة أو قرية عنصر أمني مسؤول عنها وعن إجراء الدراسات الأمنية فيها وعن عمليات الاستدعاء للفروع الأمنية. يرأسه العميد "مدين ندّه" خلفًا للعميد "إبراهيم درويش" الذي قتل مع عدة عناصر وضباط إثر هجوم استهدف فرعي الأمن العسكري وأمن الدولة في حمص، تبنته هيئة تحرير الشام في شباط 2017.

The State Security branch of Homs (Branch 318) is a branch of the General Intelligence Service. It has similar departments to those of the central branches in Damascus, and they have the same subject-matter jurisdiction and the same functions but within the governorate. Each branch has departments and detachments that operate across the governorate. Each town or village has a security officer in charge, responsible for the summonses by security branches and for making security reports. Branch 318 is headed by Brigadier General Madin Naddeh, succeeding Brigadier General Ibrahim Darwish, who was killed along with several soldiers and officers by an attack that targeted the Military Security and State Security branches of Homs in February 2017. Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham claimed responsibility for the attack.
