The Southern District Branch is a branch of the Air Force Intelligence. It operates in Daraa, Quneitra, and Sweida, and it is headquartered in Damascus City, adjacent to the city of Harasta in Eastern Ghouta. This branch undertakes the responsibilities of the Air Force Intelligence in four governorates, Sweida, Daraa, Quneitra, and Damascus. From 2011 to 2018, it was headed by the then-Brigadier General Muhammad Khaled al-Rahmoun, current Minister of Interior.
