إحدى شركات مجموعة أوراسكوم التي أنشأها أنسي ساويرس ويديرها ابنه نجيب ساويرس. كانت شريكة لرامي مخلوف في ١٩٩٨ ولكن مخلوف ما لبث ان اختلف مع ساويروس فصودرت أموال الشركة المصرية في سوريا، ووضع عليها حارسان قضائيان هما إيهاب مخلوف شقيق رامي، ونادر قلعي مدير أعمال رامي مخلوف. لكن التهديد باللجوء إلى التحكيم الدولي دفع للإعلان عن حل ودي للخلاف في يوليو 2003. تنشط في افريقيا وآسيا. كان اسمها سابقاً شركة أوراسكوم تيليكوم. تأسست في ١٩٩٨

A subsidiary of Orascom Group, Global Telecom Holding was founded by Onsi Sawiris and is currently managed by his son Naguib Sawiris. He entered a partnership with Rami Makhlouf in 1998, but Makhlouf fell out with Sawiris soon after, so the money the Egyptian company had kept in Syria was confiscated, and two men were designated its legal guardians, Rami Makhlouf’s brother, Ihab Makhlouf, and Rami Makhlouf’s business manager, Nader Kalai. However, threats of international arbitration led to the announcement that the dispute had been resolved amicably in July 2003. It operates in Africa and Asia. It used to be known as Orascom Telecom. It was founded in 1998.
