Function: Commander of the assault forces of the Wagner group during the battle of Soledar in Ukraine; Commander of “ArBat” battalion

Hayk Gasparyan, known as “Abrek”, is the commander of the assault forces of the Wagner Group in Ukraine and the commander of “ArBat” battalion. He served as commander of the forces during the battle of Soledar, in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, in January 2023 and was awarded an Order of Courage for battlefield bravery for his participation in the war effort in Ukraine by the president of the Russian Federation on 31 December 2022. In this position, he is directly responsible for coordinating and planning operations as part of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. Therefore, he is responsible for supporting and implementing actions and policies which undermine and threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

Hayk Gasparyan, connu sous le nom d’“Abrek”, est le commandant des forces d’assaut du groupe Wagner en Ukraine et le commandant du bataillon “ArBat”. Il a été commandant de ces forces lors de la bataille de Soledar, dans la région de Donetsk en Ukraine, en janvier 2023, et a été décoré de l’ordre du courage pour sa bravoure sur le champ de bataille en raison de sa participation à l’effort de guerre en Ukraine par le président de la Fédération de Russie le 31 décembre 2022. En cette qualité, il est directement responsable de la coordination et de la planification d’opérations dans le cadre de la guerre d’agression menée par la Russie contre l’Ukraine. Il est donc responsable de soutenir et de mettre en œuvre des actions et des politiques qui compromettent et menacent l’intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l’indépendance de l’Ukraine.
