Deputy Chair of the Public Council of “Roscosmos”

Function: Secretary of the “working group special military operation” established per decree by President Putin; Director of the Department for Interaction with State Authorities and Work with the Regions of the State Corporation Roscosmos

Alexander Zakharenko is a member and secretary of the working group established by President Putin in Dec 2022 that is tasked with coordinating the mobilization efforts of the Russian Federation to support its war of aggression against Ukraine. Beyond his role in the working group he has been the Director of the Department for Interaction with State Authorities and Work with the Regions of the State Corporation Roscosmos since 2015 which shows his experience in coordinating interdepartmental relations essential to the tasks of the working group. Therefore, Alexander Zakharenko is responsible for supporting and implementing actions and policies which undermine and threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

Alexander Zakharenko est membre et secrétaire du groupe de travail créé par le président Poutine en décembre 2022 chargé de coordonner les efforts de mobilisation de la Fédération de Russie pour soutenir sa guerre d’agression contre l’Ukraine. Outre son rôle au sein de ce groupe de travail, il dirige depuis 2015 le service de la société d’État "Roscosmos" chargé de l’interaction avec les autorités d’État et du travail avec les régions, ce qui témoigne de son expérience en matière de coordination des relations interservices, essentielle aux tâches du groupe de travail. Par conséquent, Alexander Zakharenko est responsable de soutenir et de mettre en œuvre des actions et des politiques qui compromettent et menacent l’intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l’indépendance de l’Ukraine

On December 20, 2022, Alexander Zakharenko was included by Vladimir Putin in the working group to ensure the interaction of public authorities and organizations on issues of mobilization training and mobilization.
